All artworks ship directly from the Latela Art Gallery unless otherwise specified.

**We do not ship to P.O. Boxes, please provide an alternate address**

 

What are LATELA shipping costs?

For prints & flat works, we have a flat $25 shipping & handling rate within the U.S. and a flat $50 shipping & handling rate for international purchases. That flat rate is calculated at checkout.

All other artworks (canvases, sculptures, new media, framed works), we offer the option to contact us to discuss payment, shipping & handling. This is because shipping prices will vary based on your location & the needs for the artwork to be shipped (fragile conditions, etc). 

All shipping rates are the responsibility of the buyer.

Do you ship internationally?

Absolutely! See above shipping costs.

How is the artwork packaged?

All prints ship either flat or rolled loosely in a secure tube, depending on size. We have years of experience packing artworks and ensure highest quality.

For all other works (canvases, sculpture, new media, framed works), we offer many options for customized shipping and packaging based on the needs of the artwork. Please contact us before checking out so we can discuss these options with you.

How long does it take for purchased artworks to arrive?

We begin to process you order within 5-7 business days. This is because we may need to locate the artworks in storage or visit the artist to sign works. We also may need to contact you if you're interested in works that are not flat to make sure we select the best shipping or courier option for you. Please keep in mind that the gallery is closed on all US National Holidays.

Do I have to pay for taxes or customs?

All works are taxed at 5.75%. International purchases are not taxes. If you are purchasing for a non-profit, tax will not be included.

Customs fees are 100% the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to making a purchase. The Latela Art Gallery is not responsible for any customs charges or refunds for works because a buyer was unprepared to follow through with their country's customs policies.

Do you offer exchanges and returns?

We only offer exchanges or returns if we shipped an incorrect artwork or size. We do not offer any other exchange or refund options as most artworks are made to order.
